Section 01 / Due diligenceVCUK-WEB-003 · S.01
Built to be checked.
Defence procurement runs on scrutiny, and rightly so. This sheet gathers what a diligent buyer needs to verify before engaging Victory Consulting — the firm's security posture, its professional standing, and the commercial mechanics of contracting with it — set out in the order a procurement team will ask for it.
What cannot responsibly be published — references, client specifics, and anything that carries a marking — is exchanged directly, on request, under the handling the material demands.
Contents of this sheet

Section 02 / Security & ClearancesFI-01 · VCUK-WEB-003
Cleared before the conversation starts.
Security is not a section of the proposal; it is the condition of the work. The firm's posture is simple to state and simple to check.
Personnel
Consultants put forward by Victory Consulting hold SC clearance as standard. Clearance status is confirmed at enquiry — before any sensitive detail changes hands, not after.
Marked material
Protectively marked material is handled in accordance with MoD security requirements — stored, moved and discussed only within the controls its marking demands, in whichever setting the client specifies.
Secure sites
The network is accustomed to working on MoD establishments and industry secure sites, and arrives conversant with site security procedure rather than needing to be walked through it.
Discretion by default
No client names appear on this site. First conversations are held in as much or as little detail as clearance allows — enough to establish fit without exposing anything that should not travel.
Section 03 / Accreditations & StandardsFI-02 · VCUK-WEB-003
Qualified on paper. Proven in programme offices.
The professional underpinnings a buyer will want on file — and the standard to which every deliverable is written.
Project management
Consultants are PM qualified across PRINCE2, AGILE and ITIL, with a proven record of delivering large-scale supportability projects and programmes for MoD and industry clients.
Engineering management
Multi-disciplined engineering management backgrounds spanning defence equipment acquisition and in-service support — including ILS, LSA and SEMS work — with the judgement to know which standard applies, and when.
The written standard
Strong written and verbal communicators, deliberately. The deliverable is often the document itself — a safety case, a support solution, a requirement set — and it is written to be issued, not redrafted.
Documentation on request
Registrations, insurance details and supporting documentation are provided on request as part of any pre-contract exchange, in the format your procurement process requires.

Routes of engagement
Day-rate resource
Specialist consultants engaged directly on a day-rate basis — embedded in your programme team for the duration the task demands, and no longer.
Defined work package
A fixed package of work with agreed deliverables, milestones and acceptance criteria — scoped, priced and scheduled before work begins.
Subcontract to primes
Victory Consulting operates as a subcontractor to prime contractors and their supply chains on defence equipment programmes, under the prime's own commercial arrangements.
Framework & interim routes
Engagement through existing framework or interim arrangements where they suit the client's procurement route — discussed case by case at enquiry, before commitment on either side.
How an engagement is shaped — embedded, packaged or advisory — is set out with the capabilities themselves.
How we engageSection 05 / Questions Clients AskFI-04 · VCUK-WEB-003
Asked before contract. Answered without varnish.
The questions procurement teams actually put to a small specialist consultancy — recorded here the way minutes would record them.
How quickly can a cleared consultant be deployed?
It depends on the assignment and on where the consultant's clearance currently sits. Availability is confirmed at enquiry — outline the requirement and its timescale, and you will get a straight answer on who could start, and when, before anything is committed on either side.
Do consultants work on-site, remotely, or both?
Both, led by the material. Work involving marked material or an embedded programme team is done on-site at MoD establishments and industry facilities; analysis and document production that can properly be done remotely, is. The working pattern is agreed at the start of an assignment, not renegotiated during it.
How are conflicts of interest handled?
Declared before engagement, not discovered after it. The defence industry is small and the network's experience is broad, so every prospective assignment is checked against current and recent commitments. Where a conflict exists, Victory Consulting says so and stands aside.
Can you work with protectively marked material?
Yes. Consultants hold SC clearance as standard, and marked material is handled in accordance with MoD security requirements. First conversations are held at whatever level of detail clearance allows — enough to establish fit without exposing anything that should not travel.
Who actually does the work?
The consultant you brief. Victory Consulting is a network of experienced engineers and project managers drawn from across the defence industry — not a bench of juniors behind a senior face. The person put forward for an assignment is the person who delivers it.
Can we take references?
Yes, on request. Client names are not published on this site as a matter of discretion, but references and evidence of delivery are exchanged directly during pre-contract discussions, under the handling the material demands.
Anything this sheet leaves open, ask directly.
Outline the programme, the gap, or the decision you need supported — in confidence, and in as much or as little detail as clearance allows. You will hear back from a consultant, not a sales team.
