Room on the register for people who have delivered.

Victory Consulting engages experienced engineers and project managers as associates — matched to MoD and industry assignments where Defence Equipment Acquisition and In-Service Support expertise decides outcomes. You bring the delivery record; the firm brings the standing, the pipeline and the peer network of an established specialist consultancy.

Section 02 / The Associate ModelVCUK-WEB-005 · S.02

The associate model, stated plainly.

Interim professionals judge an arrangement the way they judge a support solution: on what is actually specified. This is what working with Victory specifies.

Assignments

A working pipeline

A steady line of MoD and industry assignments across acquisition and in-service support — programme offices and contractor sites, not speculative bids.

Matching

Work to your specialism

Assignments are matched to your discipline and domain — not handed to whoever happens to be free that month.

Community

Peers, not a bench

A network of professional engineers and project managers who share your vocabulary — and will read a draft before it goes to the client.

Commercials

Straightforward terms

Clear, professional terms agreed before an assignment starts. No ambiguity to negotiate mid-delivery.

Pattern

Interim, respected

The model exists for experienced interims. How you choose to work is treated as a term of the arrangement, not an inconvenience.

Standing

Est. 2017 · Worthing

You deliver under the name of an established specialist consultancy, founded and led by an ex-military Director.

The work itself is set out in the annex.

Section 03 / Candidate Specification6 lines · VCUK-WEB-005

The candidate specification.

Written the way we would write it for a client: what is essential, what is desirable, and nothing padded. If you read this register and recognise yourself, we should talk.

SPEC-01

Defence acquisition or in-service support

Considerable experience in Defence Equipment Acquisition or In-Service Support, gained inside the MoD, the defence industry, or both.

Essential
SPEC-02

Engineering or project profession

Chartered — or demonstrably working towards chartered status — as an engineer or project professional.

Essential
SPEC-03

Written & verbal communication

The ability to write and brief to the standard a programme office expects. Our work is judged on the page; so are our people.

Essential
SPEC-04

Domain delivery experience

Equipment programme experience in the land, sea or air domain. Depth in one is expected; breadth across several is welcome.

Essential
SPEC-05

Security clearance

SC Clearance held — or clear eligibility to obtain it. Most of our assignments require it; few careers pages say so this plainly.

Desirable
SPEC-06

Project discipline qualification

PRINCE2, AGILE or ITIL qualification, or an equivalent recognised project management discipline.

Desirable

Meeting the essentials matters more than ticking every line — a strong delivery record answers most questions.

Section 04 / Working ModelVCUK-WEB-005 · S.04

Assignment life, clause by clause.

No mystique and no small print — the working model, written down the way we would write it into an agreement.

W-01

How work arrives

Assignments come through the firm's standing MoD and industry relationships. When one matches your specialism you hear about it directly — with the scope, the site and the expected commitment stated up front.

W-02

The shape of the work

Engagements range from short advisory tasks to sustained embedded roles inside programme offices and supportability teams. Duration follows the programme's need — and is agreed before you commit, not discovered afterwards.

W-03

Where you work

On-site at MoD establishments and contractor facilities where the work demands presence; hybrid where it does not. The pattern is set by the assignment and stated plainly at the outset.

W-04

Clearance

Most assignments require SC. Where you hold it, verification is straightforward; where an assignment requires it and you are eligible, we may be able to sponsor and support the process.

W-05

Support in post

You deliver under the Victory name with a Director-level line back to the firm — a second pair of eyes on your outputs when you want one, and the network's collective experience behind you when the issue requires it.

Anything not covered here is answered before you sign — ask.
